That is exactly what I have to do. I make the same hand pose and try to make sure everything is facing the correct way.

Makes me happy I'm not the only one who has to do this. 😅

I'm not very good with hands either, I use the "box method" I've named strangely ^^'

You use boxes to help you with proportions of hands if you may also have issues with that.
