Would it be possible to use this photo in a presentation for my anthro class? I'd def credit the image to you and everything. Let me know.

I'm hesitant to do so. How would it be used?

Lol, that is true. I have been trying to sort myself out for such a long time now it just seems...... "NORMAL" to have them (when you know it isn't ^^). What's even more annoying is that everybody thinks that you're just not trying and putting them off, when that's all you ever do. I bet they change tones when it's THEIR turn! Muahahahaa, sweet revenge ^_^

Well, I think there's a line between "normal" people and people like me (and perhaps you as well). For instance, I read that everybody tries to multitask, but we're not really good at it. In my case, I know I CAN'T multitask, but (like in the picture) my mind makes the leap on its own, obliterating whatever was going on before. I guess you can call it "faulty wiring," because the executive functions of the brain aren't doing the job they're supposed to be doing. I've found a few things that help, but I don't know if there's a "perfect" solution.

At least you know when you brain leaves you and where it goes! Me, I keep misplacing mine.
I really don't know about guys but my male friends keep telling me they can't multitask even if their "lives depended on it" (though I've never been able to confirm it) and I mean the simple stuff like "watching the potato as it bakes and not do anything else", which I would be very much surprised if its THAT bad but even we girls can only multitask so much before our brains can no longer take it. My sister keeps insisting that I take this Brain Food as its SUPPOSE to be good, though I have my doubts as the taste is I think more than enough to undo all the benefits, yuck.
As far as normality is concerned I just counteract that nowadays with my favourite argument and ask that person What IS normal?

I know of several people who have Aspergers. I can imagine what it's like.

Yes, math can be quite frustrating; but I find my Survey of Personality class to be quite interesting, so it's easier for me to focus (heck, in the journal assignment the class was assigned, my teacher told me I could sketch out the topic instead of write about it).

As I understand it, the experience is somewhat unique for each person. I don't have Aspergers, but I have my own issues with concentration, focusing and procrastination. There are times when I feel like Lucy on the assembly line, struggling to digest the information I'm receiving while the relentless stream is piling up behind it.

Yeah, my brother can feel that way, as well. It's a tough life we live, but most of us tend to get by, one way or another. I don't think my life would be that much different if I didn't have Aspergers.
