I've been wanting to try my hand at 3D models for a long time, and now I finally got around to doing it! Between the main piece and fractals this took about five hours of render time and a couple hours for everything else. Plus about two days of banging my head against the wall and trying to figure out how to use these programs. This was modeled in Wings 3D and rendered with the Blender "Cycles" engine. Let me know what you think, and if you'd like to see more stuff like it!

That's an interesting way to look at it. I was just experimenting with a random blob shape,
