Here's my take on Ashfur:Squirrelflight shouldn't have let him believe that she loved him in the first place. She should've told him how she felt about him from the start. Her heart belonged to Brambleclaw. But she was a hypocrite; she blamed Brambleclaw for spending more time with his half-brother than with her, but she herself was seeing Ashfur at the same time. -_-;
But I think that Ashfur over-reacted. He could've gone for a different she cat. I understand. He went crazy, didn't fully understand what he was doing..... But I do think that he had it coming. But Ashfur didn't deserve to be murdered. All of this is Leafpool's fault. xD

I knew Ashfur went psycho, but this still give me nightmares. Squirrelflight didn't know that he liked her so don't blame her. Leafpool wanted to protect her kits so don't blame her. I think Ashfur sort of deserved to die. He could have hurt hurt or even kill someone.

i agree with you for everything, accept the part where you said everything was Leafpools fault. all living things with an operating brain, heart, mind and soul are able to control their choices and thoughts. it makes sense that they are influenced by past thought and opinions and happenings. though EPIC work!

Im not afriad to say i cryed when he died, he reminds me of myself. I thought my friend liked me, and when i opened up to him he didnt like me. (I didnt go insan tho XD) i was upset but i got over it! Luv Ashfur (and Hollyleaf) forevah

lol true true! but poor ashfur, when he was a kit, his father whitestorm got killed in the battle with bloodclan, so his heart broke a little, but it didn't affect him much. but when his mother bridleface got killed by a badger, his heart shattered. with squirrelflight acted like she loved him, his heart repaired, but when she left, it broke, turning to stone, so i guess when he got lionpaw as his apprentice, it let him go mad and start to attack her heart
