The WIP of the GazettE mural in my room. I'm loving it. ;_;I have yet to paint Uruha, but I will get him done.
On the top image, Ruki and Reita look as if they need another coat of paint, but it is just the glare from the flash of my camera.
((The very nice, professional camera my mom got for christmas.))
I didn't know what category to put it in, so I put it in street art and graffiti.... since it is paint on a wall. xD
I'll give you guys a better picture once I finish Uruha~ ((He goes right beside Kai))
As you can see I kind of messed up on the word Gazette at the bottom... the two T's have random paint dots...

Oh my god, I seriously wish I lived in your room!!! I don't know if I'm allowed to paint my room again, but once my sister moves out, I get to move into her room, but I'm pretty sure I'm painting it purple....I would paint something like that, but I'm not the best, lol.

Well, I found the picture I wanted- I had to make sure it had a light background that was pretty solid so that it wouldn't be all weird when I turned it black and white. Then, on Photoshop, I did the Threshold option and played around with that until it was detailed/un-detailed to my liking. Then, of course, I printed it. I own a projector (Haha. It's like.. OMGancient... but it works. xDD), so I used that to draw the general outline on the wall so I could ensure that they were all the same size and pretty much in proportion (Because it would have been a reeeaaalll pain in the ass to have gridded my wall. xD) Once I had their basic figures outlined, I improvised on detail-- and the tops of their heads (Because they were cut off in the picture)... then I bought black paint and painted it. :3
It was kind of hard too because I had the first four done (Aoi, Reita, Ruki, and Kai.. lol. I hope you are familiar with the members.) But my projector overheated before I could draw Uruha... and I had to turn it off. Well, days later and I had stupidly moved my projector in search of something... so I had to refocus it and realign Uruha the best that I could to make him the same size and on the same level as the others. (And I think I did a pretty dandy job.)
But yeah. I had the help of my projector when drawing it, but it turned out better than me trying to freehand it and have Reita 3 feet tall and Ruki 389540378 feet. xD If you get me there.
I think they're about 7 feet tall.. and that's without legs. LOL.

YES. Projectors come in handy. Some might think of it as a way of cheating, but when you're trying to directly copy a picture like that onto a large area, it's nice to be able to make sure you're staying in proportion.

Heeeeey, I know that room.... AND I HELPED MAKE IT THAT WAY!!! God, remember the scorpion that was lurking under your bookcase? The mural looks awesome so far though; I wish I had smooth walls to paint. I have that daft lumpy stuff; besides, if I painted it, my grandmother would bitch at me for ever and eternity.
