Description This is the *print version* of the original 2x2" painting.
The Original is SOLD!

Chain Chomps are so comical, and when I found one in Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for original Game Boy (they're called Bow-Wow's in Zelda-land) it cracked me up. In the game, you bring the Bow-wow a bow for her um... head(?) and it gives you an item in return. So here she is, as excited as she can be about her pretty new accessory. All the black areas are shiny, and the canvas edge is painted shiny black TOO!

3x3" canvas, acrylic, Ink

IF YOU WANT A PRINT! Please PM or email me, they are 4x6, matted & bagged in a 5x7 mat, suitable for framing! The prints are $15 each.

i think bow wows must be close cousins of the chain chomp species. chain chomps look like pissy cannon balls and bow wows have...shiny fur???

Haha, yes, I think they are pretty much the same thing. There are several funny little Mario & Zelda cross-overs in these games, especially in Link's Awakening. (Including a Yoshi doll, the "bow-wows" Totaka's Song, and Mamu the Frog (who is basically Wart from SMB2). There are also goombas in the underpasses in Link's Awakening! I love that game so hard T_T

This is so nostalgic- I used to laugh so hard when I got the bow for the Bow-wow. Even at 6 or 7, I remember thinking " What the heck does a BOW-WOW need a bow for?" Kind of reminds me of some people I know ^^
But anyway, beautiful, cheerful artwork. I kind of want it to hang in my house.

Nice job! I love that game so much when I was kid. Nearly didn't want to hand her(?) back to her owner.
