I've always wanted to do one of these things, but I've never had enough finished art to fill one out completely!
Phew, there was a lot of Shardcole this year, but I managed to pick out some personal favorites from the year and get some variety in there! XD
2016 was a big year for me artistically. I found confidence that I didn't know I had in my work and because of it, I fought harder than I ever would have expected to improve. Deviantart and really investing in posting here regularly was a huge leap of faith for me. I was so terrified that I wasn't very good and that I wouldn't really belong here. I have all of you to thank for turning that around so quickly for me. This time last year, I had less than 100 watchers. As of right now, we're closing in on 900! It has been a huge honor for me to be so welcomed and I've made so many wonderful new friends. I've gotten to meet so many wonderful artists that I admire deeply and interacting with all of you-- the wonderful people who have stuck with me or are just joining me-- has been just unbelievable. I'm so very blessed, and I look forward to another amazing year with all of you! Here's to 2017!
