many of your average young adults may not know this art's symbolism, but they certainly have felt it at some point in their lives, and as such they feel a connection to the art's significance, even if in their mind they detest it.

Shining Armor is awesome, actually my favorite stallion (Soarin', Big Macintosh and Doctor Whooves are other favorites of mine,) but his eyes creep me out for some reason...it's because the parts that are supposed to be white are light blue and actually darker than his coat color...it makes him look stoned or something (it really would if his eyes were pink instead of light blue.) I guess they did that because of his white coloration, so that we could see his eyes better, but just look at Rarity...she's also white, but her eyes are a normal white color as well, and we can see them just fine.
Regardless of his freaky eye color, Shiny is best male pony :3

Trust me when I say that there are higher tiers then this.

Everybody has different tastes. You'd be surprised to see how much work can go into a picture just to make it look similar to the show. So I ask you, what is top tier to you and what makes other pictures higher tier(ed?) than this?
Not that I'm saying that I think that this is top tier or high tier, I leave that to the individual viewers to decide. I just want to know how you personally decide the tiers

I just go by on how much time it took and the complexity it looks. This looks like this pic took quite a while to make and it shows. It also looks a bit complex due to the shading done on the stroke lines and such. This is something personally that I can't do which makes it high tier for me. When I see something that I know that I can only do in my dreams and it blows my mind, that is top tier to me. Example: [link] Anyways, this is a good pic.
