Description
This is the second page of the book I made an edition of 4 of for Intaglio II. The book is inspired by the novella, The Hour of the Star, by Clarice Lispector.

Each page had an overlay of text from the novella, which I will include here:

When she woke up, she no longer knew her own identity. Only later did she reflect with satisfaction: I am a typist and a virgin, and I like coca-cola.
Despite the fact that it tastes of nail polish, toilet soap, and chewed plastic, none of this prevents people from loving it with servility and subservience.
This drink which contains coca is today. It allows people to be modern and to move with the times.
