Challenge piece for my character at

2. One of Queen Tulkiina's braided-leather tail-bands has broken. She is very concerned that without four of them on her tail, she is out of balance with the god Balodius. Go to Grandesque, find a Samhradh to craft a new braided-leather band for you, and present it to the Queen.

Synopsis:

Merrill is on the last leg of his journey, new braid in hand, or rather, in beak. The jungles of Twistoult, home to his clan, are particularly foggy this day and a little eerie. Suddenly the forest goes quiet and a strange undulating call rips through the mist. Is it the hunting call of the elusive and deadly woobiwoobi bird, the flesh eating monstrosity that feasts on young griffins? Surely Merrill's cousin was joking about that. Right? It couldn't be a real creature, just something made up... right?

Yes, his cousin is definitely taking full advantage of Merrill's gullibility, how could he possibly resist? That's what cousins are for after all. Anyway, Merrill is not a particularly stealthy griffin, in case you didn't notice. Also he tends to make as much noise going through the jungle as, hmm, probably you or I would. Stealth monster he is not.

So I tried some more lineless art. It's fun and surprisingly easy, the hard part is picking your colors and planning where the go at the beginning. Arbitrary foliage is arbitrary.
