Exactly - a common pose, but never done quite this way! I was sure someone had probably done something like this already (which is still a possibility but not that I found), but when I had this image in my head and didn't find anything that looked quite like it, I decided to go for it myself!

We had a quiet evening in and played with our little girl. Had planned on going to bed early and somehow ended up curled up on the couch watching a movie until new year hit. We're really just taking things a day at a time and hoping everything just keeps getting better. How about you? Aside from your art project of course.

Aww that sounds nice and relaxing! Oh yeah, this year is going to be crazy. . .the big thing is that my sister and I have been planning a trip to Europe and the plan has been to go this year so I'm pretty excited about that It's a "bucket-list" trip, as in, we're going to go do everything we ever wanted to do over there so if we never get to go back we'll have done what we wanted! It's a lot of work to plan/prepare for that (we're looking at visiting at least 6 countries and will be gone for 2 weeks) on top of the art stuff I'm trying to focus on, plus I found a new anime I watched and now did a fanart for (so much for focusing on the to-do list I had, huh? ). . . but everything is very good, and no complaints from me!!
