I happened to be walking home one fine day when someone tried to assassinate me. I held my calculator in front of my face, and the bullet skimmed off it, saving my life.
SAY WHAT!?

Nah, not really. I think that's poor sarcasm on my part.

Apart from the stupid 'r' symbols in fractions, which can be annoying.

Agreed, can be a bit confusing when breaking out the more complex stuff like your binomials, exponential and complex fractions, and the input with that can be quite tricky.

I'm trying to do my physics right now, thermodynamics. Who is going to fail her test? This girl! *cries*

Physics aren't that hard. If you try to understand it from the beginning of your school career it is very easy. I never had problems with it.
I suggest a TI 84 plus. €100 to buy a real one, free downloadable to get a virtual one. Click here for a photo

Well, while I was in school, I couldn't get a TI-84 at my level, simply because of some restrictions in exams. And yes, I agree, trying to understand physics from the start makes it a lot easier.

No TI at your exam? That sucks. I can put all my summaries in it and use it for Math, Physics and Chemistry exams. Never used it tough, but my classmates did.

Yes, no TIs because it can store summaries and whatnot, actually. The school system here wants to make sure we memorise all our formulas for each subject, which also unfortunately applies for physics, chemistry and calculus :'D

but still, H2 phy is easier than chem O.o, and a hell lot more interesting

Yup. H2 Chem is seriously screwed up lol. In a class of like 15 ppl typically only 2 ppl pass the tests (failing is the norm in JC lol)

As compared to having a class of 37 fail a physics class test with scores of 15% and lower? Only 2 people passed, one A1 and one C6.

NO U. lol, the Sharp calculator is the standard-issue calculator for Secondary School students across Singapore. I can use other models for homework and stuff, but only the Sharp calculator and a few other models are accepted for use in exams.

It's all Texas Instruments over here in the States (I heard by over 95%). So that's why I said that. Plus, they released MathPrint. A new handy tool for the TI-84 and up, Allowing me to type in the equation as I can on paper.

"Must be hard learning ESL. Your obviously doing good! You think this is the role of schooling or immersion here on deviantART (we have a lot of 'S' sounds)?"
I didn't really catch what you were asking, could you rephrase it?
