I made this for *dantesgirl 's OC contest and this is my representation of her character Violet.
[link] [link] I really enjoyed making this. I drew it all out traditionally with pastels and then painted over it some in SAI and PS CS3. Lots of fun to draw.

I don't understand how someone can draw this good. It's AMAZING! How do you colour it? Whenever I colour my drawings it just makes it look bad.

I really like the colors a lot. So... this is done both traditionally and digitally? Mixing technology, I like it. By pastels you mean oil pastels? I had to use those for an assignment recently.

You know I started thinking they must be the soft kind. Your "Angel" picture looked more like that media I thought, so I guessed they must have been that kind of pastel.
