December 18th into the 19th an ice storm barreled on through our area. I'm sure many of you had this storm hit you, it was quite a large one. It was really hit or miss whether or not we were going to get snow or ice. Well, we got ice. Lots of it too. Luckily it wasn't too damaging and we were without power for only about 5 hours I believe. This is the first ice storm I've witnessed and I think it's pretty neat. It makes trees look so beautiful and it's neat seeing everything sag that you wouldn't normally see do that.

This is a shot of an apple in my neighbors yard that is encased in ice from the storm. I had several shots of it to choose from, some with the branch to the left, some without, I preferred to include the branch, I think it looked better.

The usual PP here plus a "Monday Morning" filter from Nik Software, Efex Plugin.
