It would make an awesome print, that's for sure. I really like the wideness and how you've captured quite a lot there. It's great how you've managed to capture it just as there are clouds in the sky, as that adds more depth to things.The monotone really brings things out, though, especially with the atmosphere, mood and the buildings themselves. I find it interesting how it accentuates some more than others so that it makes the piece more interesting and all.Part of me feels that there could be more sky... It's not bad, though. Wonderful view and all.

Yep, got lucky the time I was up there the lake was producing some nice looking clouds. Was really happy about that The city itself isn't really bright and colorful, so monotone was a natural fit for it. I also planned out the time of day so that there would be increased angular shadows creating and add depth making for a great monotone photo Now that you mention it, I completely agree. I think a little added sky would be perfect. I'll bet photoshops new "Content Aware Fill" could stir me up some nice sky haha. I'll have to give that a try.
