This is the first time I drawing with pastel. The concept character is not mine, just a fanart work, the reference is in ipad of my friend so I don't have a link to the original. Just want to try do trainditional work. Thank you so much for watching ^^Related content

Let me start by saying that this piece is quite beautiful, I love the colors you chose, and the way you blended them together. I also really like the anatomy as well, the pose looks so natural, and is well drawn. Overall your use of the pastels is beautiful, I would never have guessed that this was a first time piece, I particularly like the way you depicted the shadows and highlights here. The only thing really bothering me with this piece is the hair, I feel that it could use a bit more detail, maybe a few more highlights or shadows? Though that is just my opinion, and other than that, this piece is quite lovely.

This is realy a nice work. I love traditionnal art and your piece, even if it is your first time with pastel, is just crazy. The mix of color you use is sweet and punching at the same time.

Wow, that's incredible for pastels. Are you familiar with Rolf Armstrong? He was a golden age illustrator who used pastels. Your technique is beautiful and if you enjoy pastels he is certainly someone to look at!

I think material is doesn't matter, we can use whatever we want to make art. The achievement is the most important. I was sad cause I saw another did amazing trainditional art in the first time too. But now I think I can practice to become a master of digital art, another material is for fun, we are not perfect, right ? just relax and have some fun. Just focus to one thing we good at
