Hanae is a simple, hardworking and kind girl regardless of earning just enough from her job to eat and maintain herself; she keeps her business honest only charging a little fee for the work she does, often making believe the people around her she’s too dumb to be a peddler.
Even though the girl has been made a fool a thousand times, she keeps falling into trickery again because of her naive nature to only see kindness in people and trust without question (Yokai and Human alike), Hanae is always offering help to the injured or in need if she can do it. She’ll never accept help (money, food, material things) if she doesn't work for them, even feeling offended if the person keeps on insisting.
🌸 History 🌸
The daughter of an old couple of farmers. Hanae grew up a happy and healthy childhood on the far east end Farmer Fields; helping and learning from her parents, loving the earth and plants more than anything.
As she grew older, her parents health began to decline: first his father and then his mother. The young girl was alone by the age of fourteen in the middle of the winter. At first she tried to work for other families but it wasn’t the same, Hanae decided to make her own living switching the crop field for a flower one. With the years passing her knowledge of plants and crops helped her think on a way to work in all seasons if there wasn’t enough flowers, drying herbs and petals to make teas. Right now she’s trying to make more things with flowers and herbs to sell but still have to think about them.

- She barely can read or write but is very knowledgeable on plants and teas, even for medicinal uses.
- Even with all the work she does, her hands always look clean yet you can see callouses all over them
- A very resourceful cook, she’s almost vegetarian as she can’t afford meat most of the time. Also tends to put flowers on her dishes.
- Sometimes she faints from overworking.
