Secret Santa picture for through . I really didn't think I would finish one, but I got my hand to ignore its problem and do this before bed. Tonight was essentially my last night I would have to work on something before deadline, so I am glad I did.

I saw in the note, "Nidorina" as my subject and I am thing "That seems really random and odd." So I looked through their gallery to see what on earth I was actually supposed to do.

And I happened to stumble upon their OC, which was, as you can guess, a Pokesona:

So I felt I had some real direction at that point and went ahead and did this in one sitting. My new Verithin technique I am using seems to work quite well. I clocked myself at an hour, which, is way, way fast for what I did here. I seem to be on the right track.

I have learned I need to work with the scans a bit more than I used to. Like this one I had to take out some greens that got added into it somehow.

I named this card after the Bob Ross painting I referenced for the background. Yes, I am the self proclaimed Bob Ross equivalent for colored pencils. |3

As for who and what I got myself for my Secret Santa:

I felt like the luckiest recipient in this event. c.c' So I figured, I shouldn't skimp on what I do either.

Which i think is fitting since that used a PurpleKeckleon tutorial, so both with speed pictures of sorts that still turned out rather nice.

Now I need to go to bed, way too late, and I have my third full shift workday ahead of me tomorrow at the bookstore and then the 5+ hour drive to Colorado Springs to see family. My first real trip away from home in ages *I don't count Thanksgiving cause that was a single day trip, spending much time in the car.*
