Description The 60th Annual Kyo-Odori of the Miyagawacho Hanamachi.

"Scene 7: Miyagawa Ondo Song and Dance-

For our grand Hana-Butai (Flower Stage) finale, the Heian Shrine with cherry blossoms in full bloom will serve as the setting for a performance featuring all our geiko and maiko in a final, glorious dance."

Quoted from the program.

Kimika once again. This was the last picture I took.

Nejiru means to turn or to twist.

beautiful shot what is the fold or line in her sleeve?

That fold is a tuck made to shorten the length of the sleeve. There is also a tuck on her shoulder which folds up the excess fabric there. Both of those are part of the sizing techniques used on children's kimono, which generally come in about three standard sizes which are modified with tucks to fit the child. The tucks on a maiko's kimono are a throwback to the days when maiko originally were children, capable of starting their careers around the age of twelve. While they can't start that young anymore (the youngest they can be now is 15), the tucks are still considered a requirement of their look .

Wow, what a stunning action shot! The movement of her sleeves and especially the swing of her obi captured here make this picture so full of life!
