Dawwww... I know this may be an older piece, but this is still so bittersweet. I love how tender Mikey's embrace is for his mom, and how his mom is looking up at him, almost as if wanting to speak possible words of comfort. ...and that Raph is being a punk. XD Haha In all seriousness though, I just.. Love this. It may be a small piece, but it conveys so much emotion on Mikey's part, especially since we never tend to see Mikey as one to cry, as he's usually the one cracking jokes and having fun. Lovely work.

This drawing tugged at my heart, really. Amazing little drawing with so much emotion. <3 I've always wondered how the boys feel about not having a mom around. Not looking down on Splinter's role as their guardian or anything, though, not at all. I know the boys love him greatly and vice versa, but still... Mom is always a mom.
