I wish my state would legalize it. Then I would have one less thing to be angry about.

well it was legal for a few months then prop 8 messed everything up and NOW we may have beaten it. I think we have but I'm sure the protesters will try and stop it. I think it really should be appealed so that it can go as far as needed to finally be real. I dont want anybody saying they could have beaten it and didnt for some stupid reason. Just go ahead and ask the supreme court to rule on it. The supreme court already said they might not look at it because prop 8 is specific to California only and the supreme court cant rule on something so binding and restricting as a state law. Makes me wonder...maybe they can rule in our favor and make it federal ....wouldnt that be a kick!

They did but then Proposition 8 was created. Prop 8 is a ban on gay marriage and recently it was overturned and judged unconstitutional by the California Supreme Court. But Prop 8 isn't completely gone with, yet. Soon, though, it hopefully will.

ack, that bothers me. Dx i mean, we should have the freedom to love. what really bothers me are those extreme catholic/christians who are 100% against gay marriage because it gives them a bad name. i'm catholic and i'm all for gay marriage. i'm a bisexual christian.

Very cool. I'm Christian also...but I dont advertise it much these days because of all the crap. That makes me feel guilty because I truly get something out of my religious background...yet I also feel a little betrayed by it at the same time. I guess it's just a matter of whats in your heart anyway.

Well, it's not just Christians/Catholics that are against gay same-sex marriage. Assuming so is another form of intolerance. It's just people who don't think it fits into their views or it goes against their beliefs that don't agree with it.
But I do agree, we should have that freedom. Though I bet people might not want it because how can straight people (myself included) compare to the amazingly fantabulous gay weddings? Loljk. But seriously. It should happen.
