Yeah.. The sheet is boring AF.. I'll try and think of something better OTL..... but I just wanted to get this up.
I have a bit of time in between growths (since we don't have any on the list atm xD!) and I wanted to go all out and see how many npc I could get done. Neri being a beloved one I've used already and want to show the world how perfect my bby has grown up QuQ <3... the style was super fast.. especially the coloring. Though I got it all done in one day despite re-starting her pose and clothes completely at one point..
◊Name: Neri Arethousa-Smith

◊ Fragrance: White musk with a trickle of bright, sharp apricot and orange blossom.
◊ Weapon:
Has dual short swords (shaped more like daggers) That have the ability to connect at the hilts to form a bow looking like structure. She then uses her magic to connect the tips with energy and form a bow string. She can fire normal arrows laced with her magic from it, or pure energy arrows.
◊ Abilities:
- Eventually mastering her eye with the help of Ahriman mostly, Neri can 'open' her eye and tap into her own astral and core, using the energy as a sort of magic. She can use it for offensive spells only really. Otherwise when its open, she is able to see astral in general, seeing other people's colors and types. It helps her aim too, as astral is in everything, it sort of paints the world in colors and shapes that both her eyes can work together with to aim more effectively.
- Can also use her eye to extract astral from people/animals/monsters/things. She then uses this ability to meld the energy into things like weapons, accessories, or armors, giving the items special qualities.
- With allot of struggling she can use some water spells, but its too much bother to usually, and doesn't do much.
- Very quick and agile, neri uses precision shots to wear down or finish off her opponents.
- Can breathe underwater thanks to her ondine side.
- Really good with animals. Prefers them to humanoids generally...
◊ History: For the first eight years of her life, Neri lived in a small, rather isolated village hidden within the rocky area of the Soringal archipelago. She was visited once a year by Naia though, who she called an 'aunt'. When she was around eight however, the war found her, her village being over run and ransacked. Only thanks to Alex and Aidyn, did Neri herself escape. Being brought back to Fahlenwood to Naia, it was then revealed that Naia was actually her biological mother. Naia had hidden her away there to keep her safe from the war that had been going on in their area for a long while already... also to hide her from her true father who she never has told Neri the name of.. though Neri herself knows and had known almost all along thanks to her ability to see astrals. At first she was a bit conflicted about it all, but eventually happily settled into living with Naia, and then Alex who she practically hero worshiped already. Only a year or two after that, Alex began his time as Ivalina's spy in the war, being gone quite often and more than overworked. In an attempt to help make money and such, she took a job at a city smithy to learn the art of weapon making. She also began to try and force to use her eye, which until that point had been a rather random thing. She found it helped her with all sorts of things, mostly being archer and hand eye coordination for smithing. After a near death experience with getting it stuck open and almost all of her own astral leaking out, Ahriman stepped in and helped her close it once more.. then inviting her to study at his dark arts university in Morrden. She accepted, eager to learn how to use her eye and spiritual powers, being the youngest student there ever. She studied until she was about sixteen, graduating at the top of her class and being Ahriman's pet student. She then immediately set out to start her own hunter's guild, specializing in monsters (particularly the ones that caused issues to citizens of cities or small towns alike). Now, at the age of twenty five, she has quite a strong business going, having no less than ten hunters under her, and sometimes even more. On the side she runs a smithy business, using the monster parts as well as astrals she collects from them, to make all sorts of useful things.
◊ Personality:
- Rather energetic and outgoing.
- Can be a bit crass sometimes.. most of the time..
- If something sets her off, be ready for a storm or wrath.
- Is very kind though, if its warranted. Always liking to help others if possible (though isnt' about to be a doormat for it)
◊ Likes: The thrill of hunting. Making special things with her powers. Running the guild. Visiting home. Going on dates with Talek. Riding Poyo as fast as he can go~ (is a people person really..)
◊ Dislikes: Jerk-faces. Messing up when she's crafting things. Having people tell her she isn't capable of doing something.
◊ Additional Information:
- Is actually quite pretty, but also rather tomboyish in mannerisms and appearance. She herself feels like most people must see her as a boy though.. and is always surprise when that's not the case.
- Despite coming from parents that were rather... free with their affections at younger ages, Neri didn't really date much, being super picky and convinced that she someday would find someone that she could have a true romance of real love and perfect passion, like Naia and Alex had.
◊ Deep Relationships:
- Naia Arethousa-Smith: Her mother. Even though she didn't know that for the first 8 years of her life, Naia was still very special to the girl. After finding out, she became even more so. The two are very close and simply have a loving bond that doesn't need to be spoken to be understood.
- Alex Arethousa-Smith: Her stepfather, but she see's him as her one and true father. Always having looked up to him as such even before Naia married him. She still respects him greatly to this day and strives to be as good of a hunter and person as he is.
- Klea and Leith Arethousa-Smith: Her younger twin brother and sister. They are a pain in the ass sometimes, but she loves them very much, playing with them as kids do despite her age.
- Dorian Arethousa- Her uncle. She think's he's pretty cool. (is actually allot like him in many ways that Naia would rather she wasn't...)
- Poyo: Her loyal windrel. Given to her by Alex as an egg, she hatched and raised the bird all on her own at a young age. He's always there for her, and she for him.
- Talek: First met him when the dracera was in state of being feral. Assuming he was just wild, she took care of him, nursing him back to health after he had obviously been attacked or the like. She liked him quite a bit and probably would have kept him as a pet if anything.. however Talek regained his sentient state and ran off without telling her the truth.. Eventually they did meat up again however, Talek pretending to be feral still a few times.. until it became known he was indeed sentient. Ever since they have grown closer and closer, Neri helping him through his past traumatic experiences until he was able to overcome them and truly be comfortable in her presence.
- Ahriman: Her old mentor and still friend. He helped her learn to control her eye when she decided to do so. They still visit each other often enough. (she had a crush on him for the longest time.. but is over that safely -u- )
