Just give flash a month and you'll have all the basics down that you need to make
a short animated film. Which I intend to do soon. I can draw really good if I take my time.

I've got an question.
When i'm doing this pre-loader, i have to double click gotoAndPlay.
So...i'm clicking it.
Then, i have to click script assist, but there is something like that
"Wrong number of parametres; gotoAndPlay requires between 1 and 2.
gotoAndPlay"
It doesn't make sense for me...maybe that's because i'm not from USA or UK ....
WHAT I HAVE TO DO...?

What you wanna do is erase ALL of the code in the box.
Click script assist first, THEN click GO TO AND PLAY.

On this video ( at 2:12 ) how do you get all that shananagins that says: scene, type and frame when you click the Action tab when I do this none of that is there

I'M CONFUSED. You should have one built into your motherboard.
START > SETTINGS> CONTROL PANEL> HARDWARE AND SOUND> DEVICE MANAGER
P: Look at sound devices and tell me what you have. 83 LETS FIND THE SOUND DRIVER FOR IT!

no, you see, I have two computers (PCs) and I take things from one and put them on the other and all over again.
I don't know much about hardware but my dad helps me out.
I have the sound drivers, what I don't have is the sound card itself. I literally lost it. And I know it's somewhere around, and I can't take the sound card from the other PC because someone else is using it.

Loved the tutorial Ed, srsly. It was very helpful. I'm actually learning flash right now in my digital media productions class and I gotta say you should SO be a teacher for this program. Our teacher just drones on and confuses everybody

Can't speak for everyone else but your vids have helped me when it comes to filling in the blanks that my digital media teacher didn't let me and my fellow students in on (no 411 for us apparently about frame by frame animation. Why I'll never know, maybe because he only wanted to teach us how to make a website in flash).
But anyways, I imagine your vids are entertaining enough and easy to understand that even people completely new to flash will find them useful.

You can extend the frames you know, so you don't have to redraw everything. lol.
