I love Poke'mon, especially X & Y because it's everything I've ever wanted in the Pokemon Franchise.
I'm excited that Pokemon Ruby and Saphire are being remade because the battery in my GBA version died before I could complete the game (and for some reason it wiped my save file!?). Soon I shall finally close that chapter in my life as a Pokemon Master.

I was so disappointed in Y, I don't think anything could ever convince me to get a new game again.
Ah well, at least PMD is good. (Though I honestly don't know where it can go now)

The story itself was lame, but the gameplay itself is pretty rad. 3D pokemon, Global Trade, Etc. Gooooooooood stuff!
Haven't tried PMD. My girlfriend keeps mentioning how neat it is... I'll probably give it a try.

I see RPGs as worthless without story. Like without it, it's just menus. I play the games to get immersed into a fantastical world, not spend weeks breeding shinies.

Yeah, breeding is the worst. Definitely the lamest part of it all.
The story wasn't that grand and I really wish it was. At least there's the social aspect of Pokemon.
I love playing a few rounds with friends and hanging out at tournaments. It's just like a card game.
Except instead of coughing up some dough for good cards, you invest your time into breeding.
Lame, but I guess it's worth it to some extent.

I'd say you should give it a try, but you'd probably hate it since all you'd encounter online is Talonflame, Mega-Kangaskhan, and a bunch of other over-used pokemon.

I'll admit, i didn't give a damn at first... but after breeding my first team, It feels really nice.
Just something to do in between games, I guess.

Egh, I got tired of that in Platinum, I mean it's such a hassle making new teams only to get killed by either people who waste their lives getting the highest IVs EVs whatever, or a team of arceuses.
The multiplayer isn't fun without investing in teams, which like I said, not fun anymore.
Aunno maybe in another decade I'll feel like playing pokemon again, but unless the story is different, I don't care.
