I wanted to draw an upgraded, modern version of the famous silver sonic from Sonic 2 ^^ here it is ^^ hope you ll like it ^^Related content

You know how many times I've gone through your gallery? I've never actually seen this one. . . Weird- er I mean "STRANGE ISN'T IT-" Nope nope, that's Metal Sonic, and this is Silver Sonic. . .

haha, nope Silver Sonic was also in Sonic 2 16 bit. but I know which one you're talking about. (The one that's almost 3D and the the one in Scrambled Egg Zone with the claw hand/belly.)
Then there's Metal Sonic (Sonic CD)
Mecha Sonic (Sonic 3 and Knuckles)Β And actually I just researched it, and "Mecha Sonic" is the name of the robot in the 8 bit games. But it may be different, because don't you speak a different language I believe? So your may be "Silver Sonic" in the 8 bit. C:

i think they needed this guy, and the metalhog from sonic one in sonic generations at some point in the game, like before you fight the death egg robot, metal hog.

This guy is from sonic 2, and i think he is the one you call metalhog, as there s no one like that in sonic 1 ^^ But yes, he should have been just before the egg robot fight!

Which do you think was harder to beat? Silver Sonic from Sonic 2, or Mecha Sonic in Sonic 3?
I think you should draw the Doomsday machine from S+K next XD

they were both hard to beat, but almost the same difficulty level i would say ^^ first one is a no ring fight, but can be beaten in 30 sec ( once you know where and WHEN hiting him^^ ) the second one had more special attacks, but you had rings while fighting ^^ (or maybe with knux it was a no rings fight too ^^ ) final decision: the hardest one was silver sonic ^^
the doomsday machine? why not ^^ would be a big challenge, but i'm interested^^ but i ll have to think about an "updated" version of him ^^

True, and I agree, I think silver sonic is harder initially but once you learn his routine its pretty easy. Mecha when you play as Sonic, at least you get rings and I never learned Mecha's routine because with rings, you didn't have to be so cautious.
Mecha Sonic when you play with Knux is pretty damn hard, I think you get 3 rings though if I remember correctly? And as I recal, you have to hit him about 100000000000000000000000000 times to kill him!!
Death Egg (in Sonic 2) is a lot harder with Knuckles as well. XD it seems he always gets the harder versions of the levels (but thats only cos he kicks ass)
Yeah, Doomsday machine would be so cool! Ooh, that level was pretty hard too (god, the amount of times I almost beat Robotnik, only to run out of rings a second before hand!)

i don t like this feeling nowadays, when i play a recent sonic boss, got hit, gather the lost rings and go back to fight. i feel like "cheating" lol^^ it makes boss fights too easy, and as u noticed, it doesn t force you to learn the boss routines ^^ it s like fighting with no skill ^^ i love the pressure when u have no rings, and each hit is deadly ^^
death egg is also harder for knux coz his jump isn't as high as sonic's ^^

Yeah, I feel the same way, while I hate not having rings, I love it at the same time because it's more of a challenge.
Knux's jump makes his entire game harder because all the way through the game there are certain things he can't reach. Especially in fan hack game Sonic Megamix where they basically force him to go a different route to Sonic which is much harder. XD

welcome. I always found him to be really hard because ya have to fight him in Sonic 2 with NO rings. 1 hit and you're dead.

yep, but harder was the final boss after him ^^ sonic games had more challenge when boss fights were without rings ^^ i miss that time^^

I would like to have at least 10 rings to start the boss battle though.
