You either send points when the person replies, once adopted, you can say it was purchased. After that, you can draw them however you like. OC, Persona, Fursona, IDK.Β

you draw characters, then set prices for the characters (or set a staring price if you want an auction) and whenever someone comments asking for a character you wait till they send the points and give the character to them. (usually by changing the description to say that it's sold, and who has the character)

Not always, if it's watermarked you usually do but if it isn't then you dont have to. You should remember to tell them not to re-post the un-watermarked version if they want others to use it as a reference.

Yeah chibis work well, unless you owned them previously I wouldn't suggest you make any overly detailed art for their selling picture.
