First of all, I would like to thank everyone who participated to their creation! Huge thanks to:

This time, I waited to have all the comments before working on the design. As I drew it, everything came along quite nicely. I am just a bit dissapointed we can't see their tail in this drawing, at least, we have all the important parts, even as a chibi!

It was actualy my first time designing a non-binary character, but I found it so fun to do! Their biological sex is male, but I had fun doing much more feminin things with them. Considering Faelmon's universe isn't as advanced about genders and stuff, they don't have a precise label for their non-binary status. So, as Valiya explain their situation, they would say that they are indeed a man, but they feel much more confortable being more feminine and not the traditionnal man. They'd say they don't think their are 100% man, but they are still confortable in their body as long as they are free to express how they feel on the inside, outside. Since Faelmon's universe lack terms and such, it is much harder for them to explain their situation compared to us, real world, where we have a lot of terms. So, to us, Valiya is a non-binary, expressing it with a femboy style.

I imagine that Valiya would be quite odd for the people of Faelmon, even for the incubus and succubus! They are a completly new concept to many, if not all. I imagine only a few non-binary would be able to say they don't feel 100% their biological sex in Faelmon, but wouldn't say it out lout since homosexuality is just starting to be accepted, as well of bisexuality (For the mortals. Incubus/Succubus have no problems with differents sexualities). Many, many terms we would use don't exist yet in Faelmon, making discussions harder to them.

In other words, Valiya would be a start in shattering the status quo in Faelmon about gender identity. They would start with incubus and succubus, explaining them their situation, their feelings and their thinking. As more incubus and succubus would understand the concept and accept it, I imagine Valiya would help by finding mortals feeling like them and help them the best they can. As the other incubus and succubus would be aware of the non-binary existance as well, they would do their best to help as well. As much as they love their community, they do not wish to see more mortals dying and becoming incubus/succubus as well since this is a tragic fate.

So yeah, Valiya would be a some what recent addition to the incubus and succubus community. They saw the opportunity to be turned into a demon a chance to be one of those fabled good demons and prove once and for all that what we are doesn't mean we are good or evil, but what we do make us good or evil.

Before we end, can we appreciate how they look like a fairy jackalope? :'D
