Happy V-Day!!! Originally this was not made specifically for Valentine's Day but hey whatever works!
This is my first full blown Zuko/Katara picture.
Yeah I am a Zutara shipper!
Lets see... they are older, and married.
I like Katara in formal fire cloths, though I tried to keep water in mind, different shades of blues, waves and snowflakes.
Her necklace... I keep the same design just changed the color... how uncreative!
Zuko was easy, red-fire-dragon.
I was so excited when I finish this piece but...
... the more I look at this, the more I starting to not like it as much.
*stops looking* This piece actually lagged my Illustrator program... that has never happen before. That was when I know I needed to stop working on it. *nod nod*
Anyway... please leave nice and/or constructive comments!

I like Mai/Zuko...I find their couple funny and realistic.
Katara/Aang never warmed up to me...I tried but no...it isn't going to happen in my head.
But I think deep down inside my Avatar fandom...I will always be a Zutara-type girl.

I know...but this is just a style I was going for.
Katara's hair isn't black either.
I still like this style...I only did it a couple of times.

I've always considered the fact that they're sort of opposites in convincing myself that KataraZuko is entirely feasible, but seeing them like this with the rich red and blue... it's like yin and yang.
... I think I just had a revelation. This is beautiful. ( <-- those two things have nothing to do with each other btw XD;; )

I also love how zuko is showing his love for katara in a way that doesn't take from his bad boy image. (even tho we all know he's a teddy bear) heehee

I love the style and the art works just beautiful, But i was wondering why doesn't Katara look like herself, i know it fan art, but when I first saw it I seriously thought Zuko and Mai.
The shades of blue sorta put me back into mind that it was Katara, but she looks way to oriental. I noticed the hair "loopies" so that also put more Katara into the picture.
I think the necklace should have remain blue it would have stood out more , because the red of Kataras shirt makes it unnoticeable.
I like the picture and the glamorous look to it, its all sparkly *.*

Yeah... Well I did this before Mai (I think).
Though I do love Mai (made a version of her too in this style... haven't uploaded it yet.)
But I totally agree with what you are saying.
The blue necklace would have stand out more, and I was going to the asian look (no oriental... that is only for rugs.
But I am not changeing anything. >_< This is an old piece.
