I'm using her rather than Ailsha for the RP. Lou wasn't even supposed to be in it, but she just kinda... happened XD
So far she's not been treated very well... especially by Moray.

Well I'm very glad she happened. She seems like such a cool character~
And Moray, dear, if you hurt her I'm going to let your angry cat wife eat you.

She's the only female character I actually feel comfortable and happy RPing XD
He's already almost broken her wrist. I mean, she tried to cut his throat first, but that's because he insulted her... a lot.
It make me so happy every time I think of Elmire and Moray, their relationship is so friggin' hilarious and beautiful XD I need to know how they got together in the first place, that must have been a super interesting- and most probably humorous- meeting

She sounds increasingly more badass. And she gets bonus points for being someone youβre comfortable rping ;3
Now those are some good facts we ought to settle. Iβm quite intrigued by the idea of the sort of insanity that could have forced these two together.
Honestly if I had the time I would love to talk about Moray and Elmire all day every day.

What age were they when they first met? Kid/kitten? Teens? Early adulthood? Has it only been a couple of years since they've been together, or longer? (It feels like it should be longer XD).
Same though, their dynamic makes me laugh every time I think of them lmao

Hmm...maybe they met when they were teens? Teens can form initial dislikes pretty easily, and it'd be kinda funny if they just never grew out of it. And yeah, it definitely feels like it should be longer than a couple of years.Β
Sometimes I feel like they're seriously just "I love you, I hate you, I eat you, don't eat me, you're tasty."
I always imagine how they act when they meet, but tbh I think I end up wheezing anytime I think about how the world around them perceives them. Especially once they aren't actively together.
(I fear for the day Moray has to take on both Lou and Elm omg)

I guess it kinda depends what kind of universe you place them in. I mean, in a fantasy universe you've got Elm as a panther, but in a more realistic universe she's gonna be a cat and Moray isn't gonna be an evil... idk... knight or whatever the hell he is. I think it'd kinda change slightly depending on the type of world.
Poor Moray. No one can take him seriously as a villain when he's constantly getting his arm chewed off as he delivers imposing speeches or chased around by the giant cat.
Moray: "-and if you don't do exactly as I say, know that I will kill you, slowly and- why the hell aren't you sh*tting yourself already?"
"Sorry dude, I just can't really get over the fact that there's a big cat eating your arm like it's a chicken-drumstick. Makes it kinda hard to concentrate on your threats, y'know?"
(Moray: That day. Will never come.)

I can see, in a more realistic universe, Moray adopting a regular cat/kitten Elmire for the sole purpose of looking more evil but it just...doesn't work out. And he ends up as her personal scratching post and chew toy. In a fantasy universe I will always see her as the angry panther wife, and Moray as the slimy thing of hilarity.
Poor Moray indeed. Elmire may love him dearly (in that "you are a tasty creature and a good pillow" way) but that doesn't mean she does anything to improve his image. No respectable protagonist would be able to fear such a sad villain.Β
(omg Moray having to hide the fact his cat ate his arm from Lou pfft)

Realistic-Universe Moray: *swivels slowly around on his seat, after finally managing to get Elmire to sit still on his lap* I've been expecting you.
Protagonist: ...Your uh... your cat's clawing your face...
Moray: *silently seething* Can we please get past the goddamn cat already, this is getting ridiculous. I am a VILLAIN. I am here to KILL YOU. ACT like it.
Protagonist: ...She's eating your nose...
Moray: You don't think that I am acutely aware of that?
Moray having to hide the fact that his cat ate his arm from ANYONE AND EVERYONE. He's probably conjured huge elaborate lies of how it actually happened.
"If you don't mind me asking, how did you lose your arm?"
"It was the winter of 1988..."

Elmire: *continues to gnaw on Moray* yes. snack.
Moray is just the least intimidating villain and it makes me so sad but at the same time it's really hard not to laugh at him.
on the other hand, it's probably considered a great success when she sees his victim as more tasty than he is. And thus attempts to eat said victim.
rip Moray ur a great slimy antagonist
I just love the idea of Moray telling these giant elaborate tales all to avoid the fact a panther took his arm off for an afternoon snack.
And just. Just imagine the fear in the air whenever they go to a new town and word of a panther stalking the city limits is being shared among the townspeople.
She's coming, Moray.
Run.

If he had never met the hungry panther, things might have been so different...
He might have been successful. Feared. Like a proper villain should be.
Instead, he can't do anything without a big kitty humiliating him everywhere he goes.
I'm wondering how he lost his arm in a realistic universe? I mean, I take it Elmire didn't bite it off if she's just a normal cat lmao XD
Maybe (in his early villain days when he sucked, even if he hadn't had a cat ruining his reputation) he got kidnapped and his tortured and his arm cut off or something. Eventually he manages to escape- with his arm because he's still hopeful he can just like sew it back on or something- and when he gets home he dumps it on the kitchen table to call an ambulance or something, but when he gets back Elmire's just sitting there chewing the fingers off and Moray can be heard over the phone screaming and throwing things at Elmire as the medics are just like 'hello? Sir? Sir?'.
The realistic universe version sounds so much grimmer omg XD But I still find it funny
I need to know how they part ways/how Moray ends up being on the run from Elmire rather than them working together.
I'm guessing Moray breaks it off. He's had enough of Elmire ruining his reputation and he says he wants to split ways. Elmire won't be too happy about that, though, and so he's kinda on the run as she constantly hunts him down.

Rest in itty bitty pieces, Moray.Β
tbh I could totally see that happening to Moray in a realistic universe. Elm would probably see him come home with his arm like, "oh? You've brought me a big snack? Great!!" Those poor medics though. Stuck there on the phone while it's all going on.
That idea seem pretty fitting! I like it!Β
And so Moray is pursued, relentlessly, by his ex-partner panther across the world. Hoping to someday escape her jaws, although it seems he is never safe. Not even in the criminal underworld, nor on an entirely new continent. He will be found. Snacks will be had. Moray will screech and Elmire shall be incredibly pleased by his suffering.
