Nintober 2011 - 1 Nintendo monster for every day in October.022. Nightmare
This one was a nightmare to get an interesting pose (pun intended). And once I got it, I scanned it and nearly finished it when I realised I'd left out his epic shoulder pads! I may redo them if I find the time...

Metroid's Nightmare is only a code name for the creature. kirby's Nightmare is the real deal.

I guess because they were kept in shadow the whole time until the big reveal. The one in the game was just like "Oh yeah! Dedede ain't the last boss! Oogie boogie monster!"

AH Nightmare! one of my favorite bosses, I wander why Hal lab didnt turn him into a returning boss, but at the same time Im happy than they didnt overuse him to death.

Yeah, though I like how they finally brought him back as the final boss in the "Strato Patrol EOS" minigame in the new "Kirby Mass Attack."

The Kirby games have mostly basic designs, and then some are waaay over the top with the weird little details.

It really makes the final bosses look extra evil by making them more detailed and scarier while the rest of the game is so basic.
