Description The breeze was warm, thick heavy ribbons of air. It pushed against my skin, making me tingle. The sky was an inky black, darkness as far as the eye could see, but for the occasional star that twinkled from its far reaches of the universe. The only sound was of my gryphons wings, a steady almost unnoticeable noise. Ahead, i could see the dark shape of mountains looming ahead, slowly growing nearer. It hurt my eyes to focus on their practically unseen edges in the dark.
I could feel the air becoming more cool as we got closer, a refreshing crisp kind of cool. My minds eye imagined snow capping the mountains, a dream that settled my worried heart just a bit. My gryphon eased into a faster pace, i could feel her excitement emanating from her. It was stuffy here, almost claustrophobic.
My gryphons hind leg brushed the snow capped tip and knocked a chunk of ice down into the abyss beneath us, jolting me out of my daydreams. Suddenly there was a rush of frigid air, and we dove down the other side of the mountain in an exhilarating rush.
And then there were stars. They covered the night sky like a blanket weaved of diamonds. Everywhere, they shone down on me like the shining eyes of the gods. I raised my arms and held them there, leaning back as my gryphon plummeted down to earth. My stomach felt tight, and i found i was laughing, though the rush of air drowned out the sound of my joy.
It was the most beautiful moment of my life, a hall of shimmering stars. It almost felt as if we burst into another dimension, we slowed down to a simple gliding flight, and the sky exploded into a ray of colors. They weaved and faded out, then emerged from the darkness again, shining brighter than ever.
I would never forget this night, the night the world disappeared and i was thrown into the stars. How wonderful it would be, to be a star, suspended in the limitless night sky.
Tears left burning paths down my cheeks, searing against my cool skin. I forgot who i was, i forgot my body and my life, my existence. It melted away with all the beautiful colors and beacons of light.. and a part of my soul would stay there forever.

I like it, the narrative is colourful and makes it easy to imagine. To be honest though once I read gryphon my mind went to wow for a bit... what a drug of a game >_> btw got the rest of the story somewhere?
