hmmm.... will see the artist who did this tends to be rather busy with commissions and his own projects. Besides I don't think Storm would really mind this all things considered.

still kinda reminded me of that slightly depressing movie where all the heroes were dead save for the avengers kids and iron man

ugh please don't remind me of Avengers Next I believe its called. Can't believe they did that and then while a writer was on the Avengers comic a few years later he made them a canon alternate future. That was so regrettable/

well I mean u bring around a future where EVERY hero got taken out by Ultron save Iron Man and (technically) the hulk and once down the future comes down to a handful of pre-teen hybrid heroesΒ

fantasylancer In reply to frokamen [2016-02-29 22:57:52 +0000 UTC]
I'd heard that Marvel had initially thought about starting a comic series around the team but the movie did so bad (and since all they were gonna be able to use as guest appearances were other hybrid heroes) the plan was squashed...now if it been set in a future where there parents were still alive...just past their prime it be different

the obnoxious part is when they started popping up in various comic series especially during trips to the future. I was less then pleased when Sunspot and Cannonball encountered them during a jaunt to the future where the "kids" were hanging out with a future Jocasta or when Maria Hill tried to use them as leverage against other avengers.

it was a cute idea the setting was just wrong especially for Marvel whom I usually like more than DC

Sigh honestly I tend to find myself torn between the two normally. Though Geoff Johns hasn't been making it easy for me to keep enjoying DC.

well with Deadpool having just come out...and really it should've earned more than it did with how freaking hilarious it was Β although Marvel movies depend on general interest 10% and 90% fan interest and Deadpool isn't probably as well known as some of the classics...plus it was Marvels first M rated movie...Suicide squad though might help DC since Will smith is in it and he always does a good job...if anything I can't believe he's not starring in the new Independence day movie

That's why they should have shoved Wolverine in there the chemistry between them would have been incredible

lol but than they wouldn't of been able to make that awesome burn/joke..."You know I always come here but theres only the two of you here...its almost like the studio couldn't afford to hire another X-man" lol and now Apocalypse is coming out but it doesn't look like he's in it ....might be because it looks like it takes place in the past again and just as Xavier is starting to be bald

good point but they still need to reveal what Mystique did with Logan after recovering his body from the river.

thats true they seem to be rewriting the present since Jean and Scott were alive again at the end of the last movie

didn't she eventually PERMANENTLY die in the the series although right now Scott is kinda a douche bag right now so I wonder if they're working towards taht in the comic

thank god Wolverine stayed true until the end although considering his mutation and the so called view that he MIGHT still be alive is good...you can't have a marvel universe without Wolverine he's as honorable and true (though a bit more rough around the edges) as Cap is

well I can't remember the forum but there was a page preview where a guy looked exactly like Logan....they can't keep him gone forever it would leave a HUGE hole in the marvelverseΒ

hmm.... they've said the same about other characters which they've left dead on a more or less permanent basis... Was it Old Man Logan you saw?

no he could've been logan except without the constant scowl...although he has amnesia so that may be why

its also to be noted that in the original story idea my brother and I passed between each other in those bygone days Ororo would have need T'Challa in the balls before the reveal, to symbolize our feelings regarding Hudlin's run on the character, but as years passed my brother felt that would have been to much of an in joke so it was left out in hopes of improving the flow of the commission.
Personally I would have left it in.

Poor old BP. A lot of folks seem to be upset with what Mister Hudlin did with him. Didn't he do the 'We have a cure for all forms of cancer, but we won't share it or with or sell it to any of you, so hah-hah, drop dead already'?
