Femme Fatale is like a modern-day Suffregette, only hard-edged and demanding. But don't worry, she'll get her comeuppance. Also, judging by her costume, the design is very much reminiscent of female superhero costumes from the 1970s, only it shows campy stereotypical exploitation which was something going on during the time despite the gritty and often downbeat reflection of social and political upheaval in the world...probably compared to the LA riots in the 1990s and 'Better Dead than Red' anti-Soviet Union rallies in the 1950s.
