Why "The King"?

Frilin is what's known as a "Royal dragon" by species. Nothing special about them except their tongues are a golden color, which I really should have put in to show.

Incidentally their incredibly docile if you bring fruit with you. Docile to the point where its' actually possible for flightless halflings to ride them.

Royal dragons have no wings, and very long tails. They inhabit Zashis' northern area, which is plains, for the most part.

Well... This turned out to be a doll. Quite a nice little piece of work. As it turns out my coloring skills aren't exactly up there with the best of them but my lineart is definately worth noting, if anything at all. So, while I was drawing this, I thought to myself: Why not just incorporate what I hate the most in coloring into what I do best?
This was the outcome, and people seem to like him. I personally liked using lines as shade, it just felt right. It felt "Comfortable" because, I'm just lazy, and I hate to color, to be perfectly honest. It isn't very noticable, but yeah, I only used 2 layers for this thing (Technically 3 counting the background sketch, but it got deleted.)
Moving on down the line, I used another old trick that I liked. (also seen on bathisun) I'm not the greatest blender, which is another reason I hate coloring, but another lazy, yet incredibly easy trick, is to "shape blend" which basically means shading with a shape, over and over.
I liked the result.
