Description
A mix of resources...Some resources were ported from Windows 7 aero theme and some are modified by me. The navigation buttons are from Windows 8 RP.

Minor changes to caption buttons

Decrease caption buttons size
Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Display
Changing Title bar text size will also decrease the size of caption buttons, default is 11, set to 10.
Set "Caption glow effect mode" to "Use theme settings" in AeroGlassGUI to enable text glow in title bar.

How do you install this? When I move the un-rarred folder to Ease of Access Themes, and then go to Personalization - Themes, the themes are not there. When I double click on files in the moved, un-rarred folder they just open, such as an image. I have UltraUXThemePatcher running.

Guys I have no idea how, but while scrolling with my touchpad I accidentally managed to shrinken the Command bar and I can see two arrows (up/down) to resize it, but whenever I try I can't get it back to normal. I've compared my shellstyle.dll with the original one and they are the same... Help, please!

Could anyone tell me what I might've done wrong here, and how I could fix it?
I have the UX Theme Patcher installed, the theme is in the proper place and I'm using Aero Glass v1.2.5, Start8 v1.45 and OldNewExplorer v1.1.0. I also changed the Title bar size to 10 from 11, didn't help. (It couldn't be the fact that I have a custom-image start orb for Start8, could it? That's the only other thing I've got going on...)
I fixed it, and I'm stupid. I had "Install glass shiny atlas resource" ticked on the installer, which it specifically tells you not to check if you'll be using your own custom themes. Whoops!

Nice theme. However, I think the maximize button is missing a pixel at the bottom in forground windows.

if you're on Win8/8.1 just download mZip from the windows store metro app and you can use it to open .rar files. It's a free alternative to WinZip amd can open several different types of files including .rar and .7zip files.

Works perfectly fine if you set it up correctly. The theme itself does not provide transparency. Its the Aero Glass third-party tool from glass8.eu
There's a guide that describes the features it offers. If you cant figure out how to use it from there, then its not meant for you. Its for advanced users.

Thanks for the theme, it looks really great.
I've noticed two small issues, bot in the image link below:
1) The caption buttons' hover images seem a little distorted, as if maybe saved off as a jpeg prior to being imported to the theme. Have you noticed this?
2) The inner corners of the frames seem to be a tad disjoint. Not sure how else to describe it.

Other than that, I love the theme. It retains a lot of the nicer parts of the default Win8 theme like the flattened taskbar, but with some important improvements like contrast around the windows and inactive windows that aren't that awful light gray color

Love it! I've tried quite a few styles but this one is so much better than the rest
Will you update it for 8.1 Update? Context menu doesn't show up on the Start screen. That's the one and only issue I have with this style

Thanks for creating this skin, it's nearly flawless. In today's update, the Show Desktop button is only visible when the taskbar is at the bottom. Mine will always be on the right side of my screen, is it possible to add vertical compatibility? And could you let me know which value to tweak using MSStyler if I wanted to have less harsh white highlights around each window? Inactive windows are pleasing to the eye, but the bright white box around active windows is a bit too much.

I only have MSStyler, which should be able to accomplish the same thing but I can't quite find the property. I cannot buy $30 software for one tweak, could you PM me a custom .msstyle with darker lines? Either here or on MSFN.
And if vertical support for the show desktop button is too time consuming to pull off, no worries. It's not something I'm dying to have (but fixing white lines is!)

By the way, would it be possible for you to create "show desktop" area on the right end of Task Bar?
I am using StartIsBack Plus, this is the only element I miss about Win7 not yet ported to Win8.1

that button does exist, its just invisible, try to click the right end of the taskbar in normal theme.

It seems to be happening first time when opening an explorer window, but after playing with those buttons, the gap goes away.

oh yes, I noticed that it's the space for the down arrow which comes to there when surfing folders. Seems like the "greyed out" arrow, (when there isn't next or previous folders) is invisible and that's why only the space for it is left. and sorry for this triple post

Awesome theme! Except for this little thing, it seems that at least i'm having this gap between those buttons. If you bother to fix those, this would be even better
