Thank you I'm wondering if theyre really the pollen, since i've seen pictures of pollen grains, and theyve all been electron-micrographs (thousands of times smaller than these, i think)

Hmm, you are right. More likely, they are clusters of pollen. I know it clumps into visible clusters, as I have taken quite a few macro shots myself.

Thank you very much Shallow depth of field is something that takes a while to get right.... This is the second to last of about 5 shots in a series.
