I've worked with spirits for like 3 years, and i am pretty sure they aren't just going to strangle you from out of the computer screen.
if at worst or best they might posses you if they are a vengeful spirit, or they might just haunt you. while neither are good but really
the likelihood of being outright killed is VERY slim.
