Another cloak/capelet I made. The pictures don't do this justice at all.... It is not really that orange/red color, it's more of a red/red... The color is nearly impossible to capture. As you can see, the backdrop came out to different colors on both pictures... and for some reason all the pictures we took of this that day came in out of focus, these were the only two worth uploading. I'm hoping to take some pictures outside, that seems to capture the color truer than in the studio.
A little bit different style than my woodsman capelet. The "cape" part is made out of medium weight linen, and the yoke part is made out of a median weight cotton that has a swirly leafy patterns on it, . The front measures from the top of the neck down to the edge of the front of the cloak 25 inches. From the back of the neck to the bottom of the cloak of measures 55 inches... the drape on this is really lovely, I'd keep it for myself, but I need the money, so it's for sale.
