Oh my, cheetahs are my favorite animals! That grace and also speed, the way they hold their claws in unless they need them.

Cheetahs actually don't have fully retractable claws and they are not made for defense or kilhunting, but to act as spikes for grip when running much like cleats.

They are so lovely to watch, especially in slow motion. I recently saw one run about 100 meters in person--it was over so fast! I have a huge number of cheetah photos that I need to edit and post, so more are on the way!
