Bolin Bolin Bolinnnnn... BOL HIIIIIGH!!!Lolz that song was stuck in my head the entire time I was drawing him, and those aren't even the lyrics.
So this is Bolin, younger brother of Mako and earthbending companion of Korra in the new Avatar series. He is said to be more laid back and goofier than his brother, but I went ahead and injected a small shot of badassery in there as well. The pose for him was inspired by the episode of Avatar when we meet Toph at the Earthbending tournament. They did some pretty sweet moves in that episode.
Drawn from scratch, references used for face, hair, and clothes, then colored in photoshop, overlaid with a sandstone texture, and inserted the Earth Kingdom symbol in the background.

Very cool, dynamic poses are difficult. You really pull it off. I think Bolin is going to be my favorite but it is a bit soon to call it. This is a great drawing and I like your neat lining. ^^
