Description
My return to playing around with Photoshop after a long dry spell. I sat down originally intending to make a wallpaper, but somehow ended up attempting to create a spacescape (inspired by Greg Martin, username sirgreg, and Michael Merza, username DKF). I've always loved astronomy, stars, and the galaxies of the universe. For the life of me I could not get the edges of the planet to smooth out, and I realize the rings are kinda stupid-looking. For some reason, even though I know it sucks, I'm inordinately proud of the starscape. I want to play with starscapes and lens flares now.
