Description Soft pastel. I've always been fascinated with the elegance of dance and particularly in ballet. Degas is one of my heroes and this is kind of dedicated to him. Like most of my work, I would like this topic to be in a series of like pictures.

I love this! What I love about this piece is the lighting, the way you shaded, the contrast. I also admire Degas' work and have danced pointe, I just LOVE this!

I really like it and I quite like your style! What I'm missing here is muscle tension. I've done ballet for 12 years now and my gastrocnemius is very strong. When standing on your toes it's in great tension. And the left leg seems to have a wrong curve outline at the tibia bone side, it looks like it has a lump now.

absolutely stunning. I love the way you are 'adventurous' (well in my opinion anyway) or integrating colours not usually associated with the topic (but are actually there) into the picture - i.e. the blue and red.
