I do believe twilight DID deserve to become an alicorn, but I don't understand why it had to be abrupt.
What I mean is, if she was going to become an alicorn, why not when she defeated Discord, Chrysalis, or Sombra?
She got her wings after she finished a SPELL. I'm just saying, the timing could be better is all.
Some people argue that the other five of the mane 6 should have gotten wings and horns too.
My argument is that the five are supporters of Twilight, who is the main character. Defeating discord, chrysalis, sombra,
AND finishing that spell took more effort from twilight than any other pony. Besides, ahving 6 new monarchs would be boring.
Having the same occupation seeing each other ALL the time.

Y'know, actually alot of the whiney anti-alicorn/princess Twilight pics on Derpibooru get downvoted on that site, while the pro-alicorn Twilight pics are actually getting upvotes. So I think the whiners are just a minority of bronies.
