Description And at last....... the last one. God it was annoying. I outlined it but then realised I had outlined on the background instead of the lineart layer. It happened 3 bloody times!!!
Anyway.....

The Greater Black Gryphon is the only one to have the front legs of the lion. It has incredible strength and it's very bulky so little eagle legs would be too weak to support its' body. As I said, it's very large and bulky, so its' wings have grown to enormous proportions to carry it easily. It's the only gryphon which can't speak, but it is the most intelligent. It's also the only gryphon to have markings.
This is the gryphon which preys on the cute little Pygmy Golden Gryphon.

I'll probably do some sort of height measure sheet to show how large each gryphon is.....

Sweet! Just when I thought your gryphons couldn't get any better, they do!

That rocks! I love how you've done the fur and feather texture with the lineart, and how did you do the shading? If it happens to be on any kind of PSP, could you please explain in great detail so the little n00b here can take notes?

Well, I used Photoshop 7, so if you have that.... and a tablet.....
I shaded using those tablet brushes which fade at both ends. I choose a darker colour than the main one and.... shade where needed.
