I felt inspired to draw this. I'm very proud of it.Was reminded to mention... Inspired and mostly copied from 'Arthur Spiderwick's Guide to Fantastical Beasts'. Brilliant book.

Looks like a picture from Arthur Spiderwicks Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You....the pose is the same, the design is very similar, the head is the same......even the fins are the same! Wow, coincidence or what, eh?

You're very observant! I forgot to mention it, but that's actually the book I was inspired from! I have it myself, and after looking through it, I felt this big urge to draw the mermaid. As I am very unimaginative in creating them, I basically drew the book mermaid but in my style.
