well, I'm trying to put together this portfolio for a college, and they said to include anything that was artistic that I do, and well, I love doing calligraphy, so I chose a quote and just started writing. I chose a very gothic, industrial looking style, kinda a mix between a texturia and old book script from england. I used a very steep nib angle (nearly a 45 degree) as was the style at the time. this is the best version so far I think, although I'm still tring to figure out what kinds of fourshes I want on the magistuals and the extened double-hiegth letters, which is why this is in scraps. tell me what you think of it.

note: yes it's rough, its' on binder paper after all, and yes you can see the doodling on the next page, but oh well, not much I could do about that now.
