And the randomness strikes again! XDTakes place at the beginning of DAO... Neither Alistair nor Harvey wanted to assume leadership (and both were kind of adamant about it), so they finally decided to solve their dilemma this way. Winner got to stay as sidekick. XDDD
Aww, they were both pretty much doormats in their own special way. It's a miracle they accomplished what they had... but they both matured eventually...Harvey because of the leader's responsibilities and Al because he went kinging'.

Dokładnie XD. Sytuacja jest trochę poplątana...w grze twoja postać i Alistair (ten co tu wygrał) zostają zrządzeniem losu ostatnimi członkami pewnej organizacji (i na ich ramionach spoczywa odpowiedzialność uratowania królestwa, jadajada, klisza jest kliszą XD) Ty jesteś nowym rekrutem, Alistair ma już za sobą niejakie doświadczenie. Niestety Al ma takie poczucie własnej wartości iż uważa że gdyby przewodził, drużyna koniec końców wylądowałabym gdzieś w przydrożnym rowie. Bez ubrań. Czyli w grze nie ma nawet jako takiego wyboru, żeby zrzec się przywódstwa, nawet jeśli twoja postać go nie chce (a mój Harv miał podobne mniemanie o sobie co Alistair :I). Taki in-game joke. Żeby luki wypełnić. Zwycięzca nie będzie musiał tracić snu z powodu ciążącej odpowiedzialności... XD

Alistair lucked out with most of my Wardens. They were all pretty much fine with leading. Irene was downright bossy and there would have been more of a problem if he'd wanted to lead. xDD

I swear, it was so fun bromancing Alistair...(much more fun than romancing him). I got all of his hilarious lines only while playing Harvey (one of the reasons why this poor boy is my default XD)and none of them while I was playing Lucia Amell (and fixating like whoa). I'm telling you, it's fate! XD

Oh, I know. I almost like Alistair more when I play male characters than female ones, b/c you get all these positively hilarious interactions(especially if you're romancing Morrigan by the time you have gossip conversation).

The one thing I was dissapointed with though was hardening Alistair. For a longest time I couldn't make myself do it (and probably the most important reason for it was a bug I've experienced while playing Serin Tabris 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
So I was afraid to do it...but when I finally did I was prepared to face a whole new character..but there wasn't really any difference in not_Landsmeet_related dialogue. And even the Landsmeet one was rather whiny. XD (No, I don't want to marry Anora, and why did you spare Loghain whine whine whine D: ) I was kind of dissapointed. :I
Yes, I've long since moved past my initial starry eyed, you-can-do-no-wrong crush. He's still fun, and hilarious, most of the time. And since I have yet to recruit Loghain(I'm going to on a couple of the Wardens I'm playing right now), I've never had him go full-on whiner baby on me.

Yeah, you should go and recruit Loghain...I doubt you will regret it. He doesn't have a lot of dialogue, but all in all he's a very interesting character.

I keep meaning to, and then my Wardens go and develop personalities that hold grudges(or fall in love with Alistair...), or I let hardened!Alistair duel him(oops). But I have a very practical, do-whatever-it-takes-to-win Brosca who's romancing Zev, and she's perfect for recruiting him.

it does raise a good question though; what would have happened if the warden was a terrible leader, or had a bad sense of direction, or worse, both..? xLLL

Haha, maybe not as much sheltered ... but the realization that his choices can possibly prove fatal to other people makes him lose his sleep at night. XD
Naah... Harvey didn't go through a military training (and thus the reason he didn't think he would be a good choice for a leader) but as a rouge I always thought he was a natural to_be_ranger (in a wanderer/knows his way around the wilderness sense). I guess he is superior to Alistair in that sense...XDD (what, I have to give him some good qualities 
But if he weren't his little group would end up in a ditch somewhere....
