Writin' and drawin', drawin' and writin'.So, I've actually had a breakthrough in my writing process and got some stuff done in the form of scripting, thumbnailing, and sketching a number of pages from the first chapter of my comic, Dirty (which is actually pretty fun). I've come to realize thumbnailing and scripting for me work better if I do them at the same time. This has nothing to do with any of that though.
Just more Diana in her finished, never again being altered design (except clothes. I like drawing clothes even if you can't tell).
Probably going to be posting a lot of sketches.

-Any time I draw Diana, it's without the goggles first. When I draw the goggles on over her eyes no matter what it becomes instant evil face. Maybe it works to her advantage.
-That's the sincerest smile I've ever drawn on her.

I work the same way. I filled two sketchbooks with thumbnails and dialogue before I ever started drawing my comic.

I wish I drew THAT much. haha
But yeah, it is a useful method if you're the writer and artist for the story. Kills two birds with one stone and helps me keep the pacing of the panels and art direction consistent.

A few years ago I thought I could sell a movie script so... Well now I'm just converting it all to comics.
What about you? When do you think you'll start on the comic or have you already started.

I've started scripting already. I have the first seven pages of the first chapter scripted and the first six sketched/thumbed. As far as plotting though, I've managed to plot out the first six chapters which will collectively become the first story arc.
