Oooooooooohhhh, I've never seen 'em done via the wirewrap/shaping lines like this before, fascinating!! Β Amazing how it can be so simple-looking, but it shows both silhouette and volume so well!! Β Cool! Β O:

While I've done quite a few gesture drawings before, I think this way actually helps the most with understanding the form since you're constructing more than just a silhouette as you said. Strangely, it also keeps the proportions in check for the most part
