Description
This assignment was highly enjoyable and I learnt quite a number of things about painting from doing it.Also, I studied quite a number of crabs for this!

I really like the design and concept! Some things I would change include giving the tiger prawn either a tail or multiple long arms. The "swimming' crab" may be better referred to as a "rock crab" as this type usually dwells in rock and coral. Also, the hermit crab would look very good with a single small hand and one very large, muscular claw (similar to the swimmer crab, but more emphasis on the claw than the arm). Males of this type (assuming these are male) typically have such a claw of this kind.

I'm glad you liked them! I'm sometimes hesitant because some people get offended. But the thing is, when I see a concept that I really like, the wheels of my brain start churning out ideas and I feel compelled to share them. Really, these will make a great race of creatures!
...oh, and one other thing I thought of for when you design their costumes: real crabs often camouflage themselves with plants on purpose (or just let it grow on their shells) so you could design them with very mysterious, camouflaged armor and clothing.

REALLY nice design's! My favourite's the Hermit Crab. The Tiger Prawn does look a bit of a wimp compared to the other two
